The project
DFW IT Partner built a software solution that plugs directly into Odoo POS to handle card payments — no external payment gateway required.
Cashiers can take payment either by tap-to-pay or by manually keying in / scanning a card, so the flow works whether the customer's card is contactless-enabled or not.
Because the payment step lives inside Odoo POS, every transaction is captured and tracked alongside the sale itself — one record, one workflow, instead of reconciling a separate payment terminal against the register.
Why it matters
Removing the external gateway simplifies the checkout flow and keeps transaction speed and security inside a system the business already runs on. For Odoo POS owners, that means less software to manage and a more consistent record of sales and payments.
